Terms of service

The service

YardKeep is a web application for cataloging fabric, patterns, projects and sewing supplies. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Your account

You're responsible for your login credentials and for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old. One person per account; a guild or shop wanting shared access should contact us.

Your content

Everything you upload (photos, records, notes) remains yours. You grant us only the license needed to store it and show it back to you. You agree not to upload content that is illegal or that you don't have the right to store; pattern PDFs you upload must be ones you legitimately own.

Plans and payments

The free tier includes limited records as described on the pricing page. Pro is available as a one-time lifetime purchase ($28.99) or a monthly subscription ($2.99/month). Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who act as the merchant of record: Paddle handles the checkout, collects applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your invoice, and their buyer terms apply to the payment itself. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the YardKeep service: one payment, Pro for as long as the service operates, including future Pro features.

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from Settings and remain active until the end of the paid period; cancelling stops all future charges. If a subscription lapses, your account moves to the free tier; nothing is deleted, and export always works.

Refunds

Every purchase — lifetime or the first month of a subscription — comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee: email rsmisael.08@gmail.com within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund it in full, no questions asked. Refunds are issued through Paddle back to your original payment method and typically arrive within 5-10 business days.

Fair use

Don't abuse the service: no scraping other users, no automated bulk account creation, no using the storage as a generic file host, no attempting to access data that isn't yours. We may suspend accounts that threaten the service's integrity, with notice where practical.

Service changes and termination

We may add, change or retire features. If we ever discontinue YardKeep entirely, we will give at least 90 days' notice and keep CSV export available through that period. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is immediate and permanent.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as-is. We work hard on reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The insurance report is a documentation aid, not insurance advice; coverage decisions belong to you and your insurer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
